TACTIC BRANDS NEW CHANNELS

Foxtel's exciting "Next Generation" launched yesterday and Aussie audiences can now enjoy even more choice with a great new lineup of channels. tactic did the on-air branding for three of these channels and we're here to do some trumpet blowing.

Our friends at Movie Network Channels have been bustin' a move in preparation for their additional movie offerings.

With sights firmly set on creating unique brands that offer more variety and value for customers, we were chuffed to be involved with the establishment of their three new channels.

AUSTRALIA'S FIRST FAMILY MOVIE CHANNEL

FMC is Australia's first and only FAMILY MOVIE CHANNEL. It's fun, always entertaining and offers something the whole clan can savour. The on-air aesthetic is bright, cheerful and loads of fun. Our partners in crime, Plasma Sonic Productions composed a great track to accompany our live action visual approach which features children and animals. Now what's that old adage about working with animals and kids?

Loads of work has been done around this new brand including posters, ads, on-air branding and a beautiful image spot. Music maketh the promo and to help with this one, we asked Plasma to re-record a famous old Aussie track, "Because I love you"by The Masters Apprentices.

And speaking of things that make you go "ohh", "ahhhh" and "grrrr", Hollywood heavyweights have a new home. Introducing STARPICS 1 and STARPICS 2. It's the shiny happy destination for people who enjoy their star gazing. Yes folks, if you love a little Brangelina for brekky, Leonardo for lunch or Diaz for dinner, you'll be devouring these new channels and fronting up for seconds. With back-to-back movies of your favourite stars, these are the channels to see the movies you know and actors you love.

Whilst on the subject of new channels, earlier this year tactic won the hotly contested pitch to brand ABC's first digital free to air channel dedicated to school age children. ABC3 will go to air in December '09 and we're on the homestretch to complete what promises to be an awesome destination for kids.
