Sport is a television genre that requires balls and in the case of the ONE HD launch - they needed to be plenty big. Channel TEN have taken the boldly ambitious step of launching the world's first free-to-air sports channel, in HD no less and entrusted tactic to create the launch campaign. We crafted a spot by shooting some of the biggest names in Australian sport as well as clever integration of archival footage. To assist with serious grunt factor, the spot featured the massive AC/DC rock anthem 'For Those About To Rock' and here's what our happy client had to say;

tacticwon an exciting pitch recently to work with Production company, Cordell Jigsaw to create the programme packaging for a fun new series that has just launched on SBS called DAVE IN THE LIFE. Brissy's Dave Zwolenski finds out what it would be like to step into someone else's shoes for a while. tacticshot and created a world that unfolds around Dave as he changes from outlaw biker to artist, politician to hunter.
The Crime and Investigation Network will premiere a new timeslot in June called ‘BEYOND CRIMINAL’. The docos are some of the most shocking and frightening content the channel has ever screened. tactic came on board to set the tone by designing and producing the show's packaging and promos. Using real elements shot in-house then composited in After Effects, we created an unnerving aesthetic. Look out for it - if you're game.
tactic recently produced a menacing spot for CI Channel called Serial Killer Sunday. We worked with the channel's in-house promo team to produce and do the design and post production on this seriously scary spot. Directed by the in-house team, it's been nominated for 3 Promax/BDA awards in New York in June. Hit the link below to have a look.

And our foreign flick aficionados, World Movies Channel, certainly keep us busy with design work on their spiffy spots.
Earlier this year we worked with Foxtel's History Channel to come up with the campaign to launch their local programming initiative, Stamps of Australia. We developed the idea of an Australian map which we made out of stamps, old envelopes and collectables. The creative was made into posters, ads and used on-air and on-line.
If you attended this year's ASTRA conference, you would have seen some of our handy work as we branded this year's event once again. The conference look and feel was bright and contemporary.
tactic designed the press kits for the launch of Movie EXTRA's new series, Chandon Pictures.
Wouldn't it be nice to share your couch with Carrie Bradshaw or Indiana Jones? Indeed it would. tactic came up with the "Stay in for the Best Movies Out" campaign which is currently running in newspapers nationally for Movie Network Channels.
tactichave picked up 5 World Gold nominationsat the forthcoming Promax/BDA awards which will be held in New York next month. It's an exciting achievement to be nominated against the world's best and we hope to be carting home the heavy weight trophies. Our sister company, Plasma Sonic have also picked up a nomination for Music Composition for a rockin' track they composed for Nat Geo's series of America's Hardest Prisons.
