Movie Network Channel's MOVIE EXTRA kicked off their brand spanking new look this week. We developed the new tagline "Always fine TV" and it's a promise the channel can certainly deliver. Their bevy of bewdies surpasses the norm by a long shot! From locally produced content to special events and cool as a cucumber movies, this is a channel you will befriend! The entertaining IDs fit in fabulously with the casual tone of the channel. Real people auditioning for movie parts - some of them good - some of them not so! Either way - they're all very entertaining and clearly love their movies! Flick to ch 413 for the EXTRA new experience.

 
We recently created the show packaging for a new programme called "Missing" which you can see on Crime & Investigation Network. To create a mood of isolation and loneliness, we animated still shots of cityscapes and urban areas with simple typography. It's a very eerie look that sits comfortably on the channel.
 

General Entertainment Channel, FOX CLASSICS, celebrates timeless TV and we recently helped them refresh their offer. The new look included channel ID work, channel packaging elements and a graphically intensive image spot. Our sister company, Plasma, re-worked an old track "Always Something There To Remind Me" and the on-air look for their TV offer is fresh and contemporary. Happy words from our client:

To help kick off the fantastic summer lineup on Crime & Investigation Network, we worked with the team to come up with a great looking promo.

 
Working with Golden Duck Productions, we created programme packaging for Australia's only live jazz program in HD. "Live At the Basement" is broadcast internationally and streamed online.

 
TACTIC worked with Fairfax Media to produce show packaging and DVD elements for their 100 years of photojournalism programme played on The History Channel. The DVD was released in the Sydney Morning Herald in Sydney and the Age in Melbourne. Here is a picture, or two, of how it looks.
 
How better to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the legendary Warner Brothers Studio than by watching some of the great films they’ve produced over the years? We created the promo for MOVIE GREATS who were doing just that.

With a seriously sexy '09 lineup of programming, we designed Channel TEN's equally as sexy summer brochure.
It is the most awarded series on television and the spunkiest programme on the platform. Mad Men Season 2 kicked off on MOVIE EXTRA on Sunday. Flick it on people. It's drama at its best. We worked with the Movie Network camp to come up with the marketing campaign which includes print ads, billboards and a press kit that left journos gagging for more! We created a fictitious magazine aptly named EXTRA. The magazine contained information, images and salacious headlines relating to the new season. Here is a glimpse.
Original and exclusive to EXTRA, The Kill Point is a gripping miniseries that was well deserving of a great press kit. Here are a few frames from our off-air marketing and press kit.
We worked with our mates at Nat Geo to come up with this rather attention grabbing ad. This is followed by a cute half page ad we designed for Nat Geo who are sponsoring the best doco category in national film festival, Flickerfest.
